Gasthof Zur Muhle - Ismaning

What I liked: The rooms were rustic and had quite good amenities beds were comfortable and good room size for a king bed. The restaurant was fantastic and unforgettable and the breakfast was elite. Friendly staff! Hot shower, fast room service. Location was great. What I thought could be better: no sauna or pool access (we did not see the disclaimer on their website about renovations as we have partially booked our debt through a third-party service). Wi Fi connection was subpar. We were only limited to two devices, and the connection is often cut out. Often the Wi Fi would be difficult to reconnect for several hours. These are minor problems, but things I thought could be improved. TL;DR great traditional hotel with large staff and amenities, a few questions with Wi Fi and temporary renovations in wellness areas. Recommended accommodation (4/5)

I’ve been here a few times over the last couple of years and have to say the food (and beer) is absolutely top class. An entire evening can be spent here starting in their busy beer garden (which is always rammed with locals from about 5pm onwards). Beer is cheap and plentiful and there is also a self service food bar serving various meats chicken dishes. Locals also bring their own food to eat drinking the great local beer which is a nice touch. If the self service meal option doesn’t float your boat then the Gasthof has a properly good restaurant adjacent to the beer garden with a decent sized outside seating area and great friendly serving staff. For colder weather the inside restaurant is traditional Bavarian with carved wood in every direction (stunning beautiful). Then the food what can I say but stunning tasty, perfectly cooked and great portions. Service is excellent (despite being absolutely rammed full) with maybe 3 4 staff running the whole outside area. The pictures below show the quality but not the taste. Flavours are deep and rich, seasoning excellent and overall by far the best restaurant in Ismaning. Brilliant experience and without doubt a place to look up if you are in the Ismaning Garching area (or if you have a couple of hours to kill on your way back to the airport on the S8 (5 minute walk from the station) Thanks guys for the great memories I will be back!!!

I have been at this restaurant for a dinner with colleagues. We were 15 and the service was really good! You can choose from a variety of German specialities and there are also some particular dishes. I had the grilled salmon with fregola (sardinian pasta! . First of all I wasn't expecting to find fregola in a small town in Germany (I am Sardinian! . Second, it was really delicious! Definitely recommended!!

Excellent restaurant with traditional German meals. there is a daily menu in addition to the fixed menu with rotates. The food service and atmosphere are exactly what you would like in a German restaurant. There is an associated Bear garden with this restaurant/hotel which is also quite nice but more self service

With a smile. placed in the restaurant part (no snack). tasting local specialties. good atmosphere. beautiful furnishings. to do again!
