Really disappointed that after booking, we travelled to Barbican (not easy for us to get to) only to find that the place was closed. I then saw a review from someone over a week earlier saying it was closed so they've had plenty of time to take it off OpenTable for now or not allow bookings. Such a waste of time and money to get there.

The restaurant was closed, but we were not informed until I arrived with my client and found a sign on the door.

Alba was closed 'due to flooding'. It was exceptionally disappointing not to receive a phone call or an email to advise me of this. What is the point of supplying a phone number if it is not used in situations like this?
