The Pilots Gig - ISLES OF SCILLY

If you dream of the perfect location to get away from the rat race whether for a long weekend or a week, the Scilly Isles have it. Unspoilt, uncommercialized, congestion free, quiet, clean, and crime free. A haven for dog walkers, ramblers, hikers, nature lovers with beaches, public foot paths and hiking trails. There is ample opportunity to spot wildlife, view stunning scenery and visit the other islands from St Mary's. You can understand why tourists flock to this Cornish paradise off Lands End. On St Mary's there's a good choice of B&Bs, guest houses, and hotels. To enjoy the best seafood and catch of the day with a drink in hand there's also several pubs, restaurants or coffee shops within minutes walk of each other.

Pizza was a bit over priced, there's nicer food on the island for less money.

Straightforward approach: alcohol and pizzas—what could be better? Both were served well, and the selection was perfectly satisfying. The cooking was excellent; I really enjoyed the pizza. Price per person: £10–£20. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Recommended dish: Ham and Pineapple.
