Yet another fantastic Sunday Lunch and pudding for 12.95 at this lovely, well run Isle of Wight pub. Great friendly service and food from Bob, Mandy, Hayley and the team. Pure quality.
Called in Sunday and wished we hadn't had breakfast because Sunday lunches looked great.lovely staff.loved the 60s music.its a proper cosy atmosphere.would return
Popped in this afternoon on the off chance as we've not eaten here in a long while and fancied a good old fashioned Sunday lunch. Place was busy but they found us a table and served us at the table. I had the turkey and my wife had the veggie nut roast option. We also went for a pudding each as 2 courses were £12.95. We have to say that the food was excellent, served nice and hot with great sized portions and loads of veg too. The puds were excellent too, I had the hot chocolate fudge cake and my wife had a crumble and custard. Looking around all the busy tables you could easily tell that everyone was really enjoying their food. The landlord Bob was really friendly as were all of the staff, nothing too much trouble. They take bookings which if there were more than two of you I would recommend but we would only have had to wait a short time anyway. Well worth it, excellent food, excellent value and highly recommended!
Best value for money Sunday Roast on The Isle Of Wight. 9.50p one course, 12.95p two courses. Brilliant, friendly, efficient service from Landlord Bob and Senior staff Mandy and all of the team.Sunday Roasts beautifully cooked by Hayley, Bob's daughter. A really nice relaxing pub to visit, even just for a drink, always a nice welcome and large spacious beer gdn.
