Had a very pleasant meal in the kyngswell huhn with speck and brie in a beautiful sauce and fresh vegetables and sourté potatoes followed by a very tasty brombeere and apple crumbs. my companion had lasagna and chocolate brownie with ice and sauce, which was also well cooked. this was the most tasty meal I have experienced for a very long time and I recommend to the kyngswell, I like the atmosphere here too full character and old world charm can not wait to go back! thank you, kyngswell.

We had here our Valentine's meal and the staff and eating were amazing. that is now our place to go. thanks to the staff.

Sat here today for my birthday had a beautiful lamb roast so much love on the plate with fantastic veg and the gravy to die for well made to the chef for keeping the high standard. also the service was excellent. very attentive and polite. all round a nice place to eat and drink!

They always have excellent eating here. a varied menu with plenty of choice for all needs. great value for money. friendly staff and a relaxing atmosphere. great!

The staff are so welcoming. The building is old and has lovely features. The food is brilliant. The vegetarian food is more imaginative than most places and is well done. The sundaes are the best! Good ale too. Definitely my favourite place to eat.
