Bidra med feedbackEasy to park directly at the stones and to foot up. they can all walk around the stones that is good, and in contrast to some other similar attractions elsewhere. very impressive. we visited about half an hour before sunset and was very quietly noticed that more people began to gather, although we have no doubt about getting a good sunset photo that could make around a little unpleasant! if they don't want to photograph the sunset, they would recommend a visit a bit earlier.
Interesting historical location. nice little business and caffeine. delicious ice cream
Stones and earth in england I would be inaccessible for commonfolk. that's the best.
Very interesting. unbelievable when I was there, so no great view, although very atmospheric. each stone seems to be beautiful to see and touch his own personality. fascinating exhibition on the surface and the stones (against fee) and a beautiful caffeine
A magical and enchanting place set in a magnificent landscape. The visitor centre has an excellent cafe with a good selection of drinks and homemade cakes. There is also a good gift and souvenir shop with lots of interesting local arts and crafts. You don’t have to pay anything to see the stones but there is a small charge to enter the museum. I highly recommend taking an hour or so to walk to the other surrounding sites at Callanish II and III, which are just a couple of kilometres away. It is also easy to catch the W2 bus to and from the centre.
