Wish I could eat here for every meal. Mouthwatering seafood, strong margaritas, run by the warmest older couple.

If you are looking for a no frills but incredible meal, do not look any further. I'm talking fresh grilled seafood... We started with the guacamole which tasted like they just scooped the avocado in the back of the restaurant. We got the grilled seafood platter, which contained fresh fish, lobster tail, shrimp, squid, and octopus. Def enough for 2! There was a small salad, mixed vegetables, rice and flour tortillas all included in the meal. As someone who loves healthy choices this was by far one of the cleanest and best seafood meals I have had in a long time. The proprietors speak excellent English and were extremely friendly and welcoming. Definitely check this place out.

My husband and I came for a late breakfast and WOW. BEST breakfast experience yet. Very homey feel, polite and good English. The food was really fantastic! Hands down the best tomatillo sauce I 've ever had. I ordered the Divorciados and not only was it a big plate but fresh and so delicious! My husband ordered the Huevos Motulenos (didnt get photo) and was very happy impressed which is difficult to do lol! Coffee was great, friendly...highly reccomend you give this local place a try for breakfast! UPDATE We came back to try dinner a day later and it was wonderful! My husband had the whole fried fish and it was delicious! I chose the shrimp fajitas which came with grilled onions peppers. We both had rice and small salad. All fresh tasting, cooked well, and no overkill by unnecessary spices. We also ordered the fresh pico de gallo and that was fantastic!!! The folks are so kind, the whole experience is great!

Go to La Bruja! Delicious, authentic Yucatecan food served by real locals in a beautiful neighborhood a short walk from the Caribbean beach side of th island. I had vegetarian panuchos and some delicious chips and avocado salsa and my date had the mixed ceviche and Sopa de Lima. All delicious, fresh, and served by a sweet and friendly woman. Go and go again!
