Bidra med feedbackNatraj tandoori Irvine is the best place to have food. Taste is super good. I ordered for malai kofta the gravy(sauce) was good which flavored my taste buds. All thanks to Mr. Ash he is the person who suggested me for that also his greeting the customer was professional and also he was so good in approaching the customer I liked his service and way of hospitality. All other staff member was also good and friendly. If you guy wanna try Indian food in Irvine please do visit this restaurant and ask Ash for suggestions if you don’t know what you wanna have he will serve you the best.
They raised their prices to 16 dollars (post tax) for a 2 piece combo with garlic naan, however the last two or three times, they purposely tried to skimp on how much chicken they gave me. I chose chicken tikka masala and it's mostly sauce with maybe 2 or so pieces of chicken. I'm not a big guy but I am often left hungry eating here.
Ok first off I've had someDescent meals here. But the last three times their chicken tandoori is like a soup! With soupy onions, and bell peppers. I don't know who made this executive decision. Maybe that region cooks tandoori soupy. I'm used to a nice dry succulent tandoori. It's an oven people! And raw onions and bell peppers. That fresh crisp taste. I swear I'm going to have to drive to Cerritos for real Indian food. Orange County has lost its Indian cooking. I can not tell you how many restaurants I've seen fall to mediocre status. Restaurants that used to be owned by mother and father from India with perfect delicious Indian food. Now the youngsters buy them out and it's a 3 star experience if that. I hope you guys fix it. Third strike for me
What a delight! This place is one of my top Indian places. Although I haven't been able to try too many, this is a great spot in Irvine. It's a great location in the Marketplace with plenty of parking and other shots around. I have been here a few times now and this spot always seems to have a line. The chicken Tikka masala is their most popular dish so I had to try that along with their garbanzo beans and rice. Get the chicken tikka masala sauce on your rice! I also got a side of samosas. These are my absolute favorite dish! Everything here has so much flavor. Each dish comes with a large piece of naan bread too. Their staff was very friendly and described all the dishes to help make our choice :
This review is specifically about the service. Food is generally ok and consistent. I went in to redeem my birthday reward of a free one item with a drink purchase. The Five Star machine wasn't working but instead of trying to be helpful, the clerk just denied it and told us next time. I told him it expires today and he LOOKED UP MY NUMBER on his side, saw it's there but told me he can't give it to me. Even though he could see it on his side of the register and I showed him the reward on my phone, it was as if he didn't want to give it to me. I know in the big scheme of things this is not a huge deal but to have bad service on your birthday is a bummer. We've been coming here for years but this experience makes me not want to come back and give them any more business.
