Gina's Pizza Pastaria - Irvine

Netter counters serve place that feels like a din-in place, with an excellent terrace for when it is beautiful outside. The food really tastes fresh and homemade. My perception is that she doesn't have a microwave, so fresh it all tastes. Will definitely come back!

Fantastic Calzone! One of the best I had. I got it inside with her buffalo chicken. Also the chicken alfredo with creamy marinara was great. The exterior seats were comfortable and stylish. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I don't even live in Irvine, but since I visited almost 4 years ago, I made the right choice by trying Gina's. Now I have to be here every time I'm in town. Apparently they are known for their pizza, but do not sleep on salads and calzone. Top-notch food, up there with the best I've ever had. Large bar with the best craft beers on tap. If there's something better than eating, it's the service. Kay, Ryan and the rest of the staff are really great. Everyone is attentive, friendly, smiling; offers a perfect atmosphere for every occasion. The hype is real

Gina's Pizza is a fantastic place to get a high quality pizza and even pasta. Her gnocchi is slightly softer than I want, but they are tasteful and really absorb the sauce in which they are. The meatballs they serve are also big and fresh, in fact, when I ordered it, they only came out with one, apologising that they had only one and came back briefly with another. The pizza, as you would expect, to be seen in the name, was also phenomenal. Change your cheese does not count as a tip that is a huge plus. Not only that, but (maybe depends on what you order) the pizza was not excessively oily at all. The sun-dried tomatoes were tastefully sweet and the goat cheese was great.

A great place to stop for a slice or a drink and hang out. There's much more than pizza on the menu including vegan options. The outdoor seating is good for larger groups and the bar style seating is perfect for solo diners looking to get in and out quick between classes. It's comfortable and casual but parking can be difficult near campus. Bring your friends and share a pie.
