Bidra med feedbackTonight the service was a little slow after we had ordered it to be better. I baked the BBQ regular plates of beans and frits. Ask for hand hack BBQ inside and outside. Overall, it was very good.
A visit to the original Golden Rule is something everyone should experience. It is a step back to the 70s BBQ restaurant when a hard sitting cabin and disguise were the cornerstones of the environment. The food here is very classic diner/BBQ joint... including this touch of fat. Enjoy it, don't fight it! If you insist on something lean, her turkey is amazing.
This might be a great restaurant if they hire servers that are clean and pay attention to what you require. I was there several times and almost every visit they left something from the record. When I ordered Hamburger Steak, I rarely get the roles to be. I ordered medium well, but they still manage to cook the meat... I was told by the cashier that they smash the meat while cooking to shorten the cooking time. There is no need to mix meat unless you want dry, tasteless meat. I also ordered BBQ sandwiches, and on two (2) occasions got sandwiches that were like the meat ranked. To say the least, I did not eat on these occasions. I will probably not go back to the IRONDALE site; especially after witnessing a server that scratched her head and delivered food to a nearby table. I heard the manager apologized. (This is only GROSS).
This girl thinks you're more. The best Hamburg steak you'll ever have. Really. Better than you can. Great pommes. Great cake. Good salads. Good grill. Just a really good place to eat.
Golden Rule never disappoints. This place might be known for their BBQ, but you are doing a disservice to yourself by not getting a burger and fries/onion rings next time you venture into this establishment. This is quite possibly the best burger/fry combo in the greater Birmunum area. The only bad thing that I can say about this restaurant is that it is located in the same city as that dump Trios Train Stop.
