Lively outdoor restaurant in the market where you can watch people which is half the fun. The food is really good, traditional Greek fare, and the staff are friendly and talkative. We had a great dinner! Will go back!

Nice authentic Greek restaurant found mid-way along a popular market street. Tables inside and outside or at the long bar. Mark on a menu (English and Greek versions) your order. There are many traditional dishes on offer. Had the chicken with mushroom pasta with creamy sauce, spaghetti with mince beef and a Greek salad. The pasta comes with nice chunks of chicken and was tasty and filling. I don't like food that's over-seasoned and found the mince too salty. The Greek salad was superb and comes with a nice wedge of feta. Watch out for the rusks that come with because they are hard to chew. With a bottle of water, price was under €30.

Interesting, local place with some great takes on traditional mezze. Try the crispy fried zucchini for something delicious and different. Service is a bit uneven but sincere. Try to arrive early in the dinner hour (when the surrounding market is just closing) to watch the transformation of the restaurant into a hoping social scene complete with fantastic music and DJ.

The food was ok. It wasn’t the best food I had in Crete. I got a grilled dorado and it didn’t wow my palette. The fries and salad that came with it was better. I also had better service at other restaurants. My waiter was helpful but they became super busy and seem to cater more to the larger crowds. It’s not solo traveler friendly. Maybe I was spoiled a bit at other restaurants but this was the only restaurant I went to and got no raki or fruits when I got my bill. I was in Crete for a while so this was really strange.
