Chagiati - Irakleion

We visited this restaurant two days in succession during our vacation in september and it was a special reminder that we will never forget. mostly because the owner really gets the connection to his customers and all of them love it. he is a very, very cool guy with humor, dedication and if it later layers many deep. Beyond that he speaks with love about his wife and children. the eating of my mother is very tasty, all made home, although george is unpredictable about it and incredibly cheap. we've never eaten so much at this price. the desserts and raki are on the house. as a Dutch folk he was pleased to have us at his place and he told us many nice stories about the lowlands. if they are in heraklion, a visit to chagiati cannot be missed!

Truly, the top of my favorite restaurants in kreta! we were so amazing with the inner of the place that we entered and guess? not that we were ordered even bigger that we expected after reading the opinions about google! the owner helped us to make choices, he was really friendly we ate everything for the last bit I wish everything best in the taverna and the owners! we met here Greek hospitality! giamas!

Had a great experience here yesterday. the owner did everything of himself (wait, cook, clean and conversate) and did it well. eating was authentic, tasty and very affordable. he even gave us something sweet on the house and told us a bit about it and the history of restaurants. would strongly recommend everyone in heraklion on the look for a good meal!
