Esquires Coffee - Ipinda

After wandering around the village and stinking next to Alan Turning, this is a great place to get a late morning Covfefe while dodging the rain. Bright and airy, lots of space (with plug sockets) and friendly cafe, you can chat with friends or watch the world go by though the big windows and glass door. You can even come back for lunch with many options and great tasting and strange smoothies. A place to visit again and drag others too.

Bit of an odd experience here. Went for a coffee and a late breakfast. The food doesn't really seem what a place like this — quirky, cool—would serve and felt more like what you'd get in a greasy spoon. When we went in none of the staff took any notice of us, and we found ourselves a table wondering whether it was table service or not. But there was only one staff member at front of house so she may have been rushed off her feet. We ordered the eggs on toast and breakfast roll. The poached eggs were overcooked, stringy and fallen apart, though vinegar had obviously been used to try and keep them together as the toast was soaked in it. The toast wasn't buttered and came with little packs. The roll was weirdly served with ready-salted crisps. The only redeeming factor was the coffee which was quite good.

Good coffee, decent lunch hot box, halal chicken, not the best/friendliest service (also vegan brownies need some work) but would recommend trying

Amazing food, one of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time, and at a great price. Unbeatable service with a smile, and in my short time here Lewis and Lucy checked in on me several times with the biggest grins. The range of cakes is too good to resist, and Kyle the manager was everywhere on the till, in the kitchen while chatting and joking with customers. Only popped in for a quick coffee and stayed for a full meal. Will definitely visit again, as should you!!
