Players Sports Grill - Iowa City

Ordered through Doordash. I understand it's bar food but come on have a bit of pride in what comes out of the kitchen. I ordered Onion wings that were obviously cooked in old grease and burnt. I also ordered the Hangover burger which was also burnt to a crisp and the bun was burnt and hard. The only decent thing was the ranch. I couldn't even eat the food and got a refund from Doordash

Not-so-good bar food for the price. Service was very slow and made mistakes. Drinks were fine.

Great spot for late night food, worth the wait that occurs sometimes late at night but the service is superb. Safe space.

Very unfortunate encounter. I ordered delivery through GrubHub, and I specifically said no cheese. They put cheese on top and I asked if they can get me another one, while I am only half a block away(I'm lazy). They told me I can only go through GrubHub, and they don't have enough staff to walk half a block. So I have to pay again for the food I want due to their mistake. Interesting,

Players has never disappointed me, orders to go, drinks, just apps, doesn't matter. 100/10 spot for any and all your needs.
