Carl Ernie's - Iowa City

We call it Bert and Ernie because we were there so many times. Great atmosphere especially for Cardinals fans. Food is at the high end of the bar food, good quality and healthy portions. Good service sometimes better with long-term staff. It's a college town. Drinks are made as ordered. The money can't go wrong. It has the Big 10 College atmosphere right outside the hustle and bustle of the city. Take a beer and enjoy

First experience yesterday at this bar and grill and it was amazing. Food was amazing and service was amazing. Molly made my day by now personable she was and I am definitely returning soon! Highly recommend this bar and grill. The meatballs

Another good experience at Carl Ernie's. Burger was cooked just right and hots wings tasted wonderful. Extra cherries in the Shirley Temple for the kids was a bonus.

The food is very large portions so you either have food to share or take home for another meal. Also Molly was a very patient and fun waitress helping us choose from such a large menu. I love to go here in the summer and sit on the nice porch

Good selection of draft beer. Serves food til 10, had a cheeseburger and it was pretty good. Friendly people recommended their garlic jalapeno wings, apparently they are known for this signature sauce. I'll have to go back and try it some time!
