Hometown Pizza - Iola

I love Hometown Pizza. The food is good but what makes me love it are the people who run it. I have really kept my eyes on them for a good year or so. They do a lot for our community. Another restaurantclose by treated my husband like dirt. We have never gotten that from these people. I truly think they are sweet people! You should stop by!

The people are great, the pizza is amazing, and double Dave's has nothing on their pizza rolls here. I could literally eat my weight in pizza rolls. These people are very caring, giving, and kind people. A lot of people don't see what all they have done and still do for our community as a whole. They do it not for publicity but from the kindness of their hearts. Michael Karen care about their community and all the people within it and to me that makes a big difference on my choice of restaurant. If you have never tried it you should and the Saturday night bands are also so much fun family friendly. It's a great place in more ways than one.

It's nice having a pizza place so close, but it's a hit and miss to get them to answer the phone to take an order. Called 3 times just this evening with no answer. Ended up ordering from Malletts instead.

Great PIZZA, Great atmosphere, very fair prices, and LIVE MUSIC in the summer
