Bidra med feedbackRight next to the train station and the mall, so a good location. Only issue here is I take a single bite out of a whopper and immediately need to completely wash out my mouth and end up sick for the next week. A friend had a similar experience but he ended up only being sick for two days.
Considering they follow an internationally recognised recipe this one in Inverness somehow had extremely bland burgers, cold despite taking their time serving it, you expect that by waiting 10 minutes the burgers would have been cooked fresh. The staff are very friendly and many tables hadn't been cleaned although the place only had about 8 customers inside
My favorites now are the Vegan Royal or the Halloumi King burgers. Keep in mind that these burgers aren't the healthiest options, so it’s up to you whether to indulge or not. Nowadays, I usually just order a latte, onion rings, and occasionally some chips. The coffee is average, but the onion rings are delicious – as long as they are freshly cooked. The chips rank as the second best in Inverness, right after Dobbies, of course. They are definitely tastier than those served at Girvans. I must mention the staff, who are always friendly and helpful. Thank you for that! However, I have to share a negative experience I had about a year ago. I witnessed a troubling situation where a customer spilled a sweet fizzy drink on a chair and then on the floor and simply walked away. A young staff member, around 20-22 years old, came over with a mop to clean up the spilled drink on the floor, but then used the same dirty mop to clean the chair. Since that incident, I prefer to sit on the benches against the wall whenever I eat here.
I had a great lunch yesterday! The Whopper was delicious, and the chips were hot. There were so many drink options, but I just opted for water. The staff were very friendly and helpful as well.
My visit to the restaurant was a bit chaotic, and while it appeared clean at first glance, the cleanliness was only superficial—our table seemed to have been wiped down, but not very thoroughly. Unless you have a specific craving for something from Burger King, I would recommend checking out one of the many independent cafés in Inverness instead.
