Bidra med feedbackWe visited this place a while ago, it had a great vibe with nice decor—only that the service was ridiculously bad, wish my phone reception was better in the area so I had a chance to look at the reviews. We ordered the cabbage roll to-go, portion was small for the steep price and it was lukewarm.Cash only and there was absolutely no such sign at the door. I’m all about supporting good local businesses but save yourself from this one if you can.
The place looked cute and homey with a bar and other seating arrangements outside, however me and my party sat inside. We were not seated, which i did not mind, we took our own seat and menu and sat down. We were not provided untensils, having to grab it ourselves. We were given bread that was tough and chewy, and i did not personally like the taste. Then our food came out. I had ordered lamb shanks, and the other people in my party ordered chicken vlimer( i am sorry, I don't think i am spelling it right). The lamb shanks had no flavor, and had a lot of bone, the chicken was fine, but the sides did not taste the best. It was really expensive for the amount of food we got, and in our opinion it is not worth it. There is also a plate splitting fee in which if 2 people eat from the same plate they are charged more by 7 each plate. I think this is ridiculous, but oh well. All in all I would not go there again and would check out other quaint restaurants in the area
This restaurant embodies the word “perfection”. The food so delightful you cry tears of joy. the service so enjoyable you feel as if you are part of a family. The atmosphere makes you want to buy a ticket to Czech Republic. this restaurant thought me life lessons of happiness, sadness, pain, and love. truly a once in a lifetime experience.
Food was ok, prices were on a higher side . Fish was frozen . Menu says fish and chips but we actually get fries . Ladies were very sweet , service was good but they should change or add some vegetarian option as there was none .
I used to live in the back of the restaurant 20 years ago when the owners Dad still ran the restaurant. He has since passed away and now his daughter runs the family restaurant. Vladia is the most wonderful and sweet lady. She changed the prices on the menu for the first time in about 30 plus years bc she had to. She added a few items which her Dad did not serve such as a chicken salad, cheeseburger and fries, oysters...other than that this menu nor the food has changed. This is not the place to go if you are in a hurry. This is a real dinner folks. She starts you off with homemade rye bread warmed with butter served on a wooden cutting board, followed by homemade and wonderful vegetarian soup(lentil, black bean, cabbage, mushroom, split pea), always vegetarian. Next a small house
