Good location to explore New Plymouth, Stratford and Mt Egmont (Mt Taranaki). Also a great place to stay during Americarna, a very popular annual event. The restaurant and pub meals are tasty and affordable and the staff are always friendly and welcoming. I stayed at the lodge a few months ago. The en-suite room was spacious and there was a dining/kitchen area for guests. I am now a local and love living in Inglewood.

Did not stay in the hotel. Trying to post for the restaurant. Went there today. The prices have increased since booking. Not changed on the web page. Bit on the small side for a $25 roast dinner. Also the vegs were overcooked. Had the chicken open sandwich was tasty. Just a shame the fries were stone cold. The staff were friendly and helpful.
