Proper country pub with real ales and home cooked food. 'Dated decor ' gives it the proper old fashioned pub feel, love it don 't change it! A great way to finish ingleton trail walk, would love to go back inwinter when i bet its really cosy. I had cumbrian braised beef which melted in the mouth, and the gravy was delicious please share the recipie. Dont go anywhere else after walk

I couldn't recommend this pub enough. Booked for a meal with my parents. The menu was varied and the food fantastic, homecooked and hearty. I would definitely recommend the Barnsley chop! It wasn't just the meal though. The staff were so, so friendly and accommodating and the other pub guests made the place feel like your local. We were going to book somewhere else later in the week for a change but none of the.menus were as good as the three horseshoes so we booked to go back! Again I can't fault a second visit. Just as friendly, food fantastic and locals who treat you.like their own.
