Bidra med feedbackWhat are you doing? I visit Indianapolis several times a year as a business traveler. It just became a cornerstone in my visit. I have a team with me and some of us were in a meeting in the same building. The meeting ended at 4:30 p.m. and one of the exects we met to get out on our way. When we went and talked, she shared that she and her husband were foods that enjoyed making it home made Italian dishes, and we both agreed that with double zero flower was a must. She talked about making pizza dough from scratch, something we had not yet tried, and when we passed Napolese, she mentioned that her pizza was well made and the restaurant served authentic Italian dishes. After we went back to the hotel to change, my team and I went back to check it out. Wow. For appetizers we had the Arugula salad with strawberries, candied walnuts, Gorgonzola cheese, shaved fennel, and he was drowned all with a reduced, alternating Balsamico vinegar. There were five of us, so we shared this and a Farro salad. I never had a Farro salad, so I didn't know what to expect. When it came out, the look surprised me because it was really a salad, like with salad, but a salad like macaroni or potato, except with farro, peas, cut radishes, roasted almonds, and a very easy dressing. It was incredible! I had several help and the colleague who ordered it kept it tempting how healthy it was. When the waiter came here to ask how everything tasted, I ran over the Farro Salat and the waiter said yes, and it is such a healthy dish. I don't want to take away from the Arugula salad that was just as delicious, but the Farro salad has brought me to a whole new experience. I would have just got a bowl of it for lunch and would have been completely satisfied. Then the five two pizzas, a margherita with mushrooms and one named Hamaker's Corner. The Hamaker 's had pepperoni, which was cut in length, not in slices, and sweet Italian sausage without the shell. It also had provolone and mozzarella cheese and mushrooms on it. From the first bite of the meat pizza I knew we were there for a treat. The pepperoni was exactly the right amount of spice and had a large crispy outer and soft inner texture, and the sausage was seasoned directly with a hint of fennel. But the star of the bite came from the sauce. It is difficult to explain how a good pizza sauce tastes, but the taste is a light tomato flavor with a subtone of mild sweetness, which comes to form a properly cooked sauce, and a lightness to it, the 't bully the rest of the bite. A great pizza sauce is like an award-winning companion, they make the event better without taking over. The same thing about the Margherita, of course, and I can only imagine that any other pizza they offer will be just as delicious. Well boiled in her oven, I would eat an old shoe on each of her pizza, because the spices, sauce and oven fried crust would taste it like fillet mignon. For dessert some got the pistachios gelato, one got the seasonal fruit crepe that was today rhubarb, paired with pistachios gelato, and I had the panna cotta that came with strawberries, basil syrup and citrus vanilla olive oil. I can tell you that I built every bite with a puppet player from Panna Cotta and a piece of strawberry, and I took my time on every bite. Someone said how quiet the table was, except the grin and moaning. One of the best culinary experiences I had in a long time. I was really, really trying to share a bite of the hot Rhabarb crisis with the pistachios gelato that everyone raving, but I had such a nice experience and memory of the last bite of the Panna cotta that I did not risk overlaying this memory with something else. It was just heavenly. Here's a shocking turn. The bill for all five of us.... $120 (before the tip). Boom you 're welcome!!
Delicious, original, local pizzas! Fabulous drink menu, heavy hand casting, pleasant waitress! Pricey, but you get what you pay!

Great for a fun night out! We have a dinner for 9 (including 3 children aged 12, 8 and 5) on Saturday and the food was fantastic. The spinach and beet salad stood as a favorite, as well as the many artisinal meats and cheeses on the pizza menu. Hunter was a fantastic server recognizable, friendly and funny. Overall a very good culinary experience.
Stopped in with 7 year old for pizza. He loved the plain cheese and commented how good the crust was. I got a Colonel Taylor pizza with kale, mushrooms, leeks and it was very good. Waitress mentioned how they use fresh local ingredients as much as possible. Nice atmosphere, good specials and drink/draft choices. GF available.
