Indy's Historic Steer-in - Indianapolis

Man I stopped in and got one of the specials of the day. Fish and chips, but I chose fries and cold slaw. Hot, fresh, crunchy, actually very colorful and mouth watering. I took the first bite of the fish and couldn't stop until the French fries called my name. Golden and crisp yet flavor like they should. I Really enjoyed the meal which was at a price I could afford. The waitress was very pleasing and easy to work with. I must return soon for more.

Amazing food service! Staff is very helpful friendly, great family environment plus clean! Covid-19 friendly they have wall barriers to help protect customers when eating around people. Great location lots of things to do around the area after a great meal!

Food is always very good. Waitress makes sure your took care of from time you sit down till time you leave. Have no complaints. Sure one of the Top Places to Eat. Family friendly.

Beef and noodles, a dish my great grandmother used to make, was on the menu so I couldn't pass up ordering it. It was delicious. The noodles are hand made just like my great grandmother's. I also splurged and got a side of mac and cheese. It was the best mac and cheese I've had at a restaurant in a while.

One of my favorite places to eat when in Indy. Too many choices, everything is delicious. Had the tenderloin with tots and slice of coconut cream pie this time around. Corn beef hash is the best I’ve had.
