Canal Bistro - Indianapolis

We came here for a date night, always awesome when a restaurant has open table so already off to a great start. Got seated quickly great atmosphere inside located in that awesome area of Broad Ripple. We got the sampling platter for appetizer Which was fantastic came with tons of food. We also got beef shawarma plate and a gyro sandwich plate. Tabouli salad was fresh, great textures and delicious. The hummus and pita that comes is amazing, cannot get enough but have to save room for all the food that you get with your meal. The french fries with feta cheese were amazing. The whole time our service was impeccable and our waiter was super friendly. For dessert we had some of the most amazing and fresh baklava I?ve ever had. Will definitely like to come back and try this out again in the warmer months and sit outside. Was a great experience and great dinner, made our date night amazing!

Best food in Broad Ripple! The owner staff are always so kind, but it?s the food that makes it amazing here! Such a cool menu, always fresh, and the best spot to sit outside on a pretty day or at night for a romantic date!

The customer service was outstanding, very friendly and constantly offering to fill drinks. They provide pita bread and dipping oil which was delicious. I got the gyro platter and salad. We will go back again. It was freezing when we went, but they have a patio and cool view of the canal.

Liked the experience! The lamb chops were nice, but my girlfriend wasn't too thrilled with the shawarma salad bowl. Staff was very friendly and took good care of the place.

I love lamb frames. I'll be there! And Canal Bistro has one of the best and most beautiful lamb frames I've ever tasted. It is now my place in Indianapolis for lamb, because it is a good part at a fair price and comes with rice. I'm Asian... Rice is life! Everything we ate was delicious. Great service. Definitely gets back for more lamb and more. And the lamps in the restaurant are beautiful.
