Bidra med feedbackBlupoint Oyster House was a perfect place for the 3 in our party to go after the ISO. We ordered differently from our last visit. As last time, we started with a dozen oysters and they were all delicious. We then moved to the tuna tartare, again delicious. We then moved to a beet salad split three ways. Our server, Neal, went out of his way to have the kitchen split the salad in advance of serving it. The lettuce was nice and fresh and the beet salad was great. The next two dishes, frankly, we followed the owner's lead. We ordered the seafood risotto. Again, it came split three ways. The rice was perfectly al dente and the dish outstanding, a dish we would order again. We finished with an affogato (again because the owner had one). It may have been the best affogato I've had in a restaurant. We paired all with a Vermentino di Sardegna, an excellent accompaniment for our various courses.
My wife and I went here for date night dinner. I had the salmon burger, she had the parmesan crusted cod. My salmon burger was awesome however my wife cod had zero parmesan crust!! The waiter commented that normally there is a thick crust on the cod. I would highly recommend for oysters and drinks but on this occasion the food was marginal.
Fantastic oysters, ceviche and mussels. So happy to have this fantastic restaurant in the Meridian Kessler/Broad Ripple neighborhood!!
Outstanding! The best seafood restaurant in Indianapolis.
Three of us dined. Two of us had been there before, but our third was new. We ordered a variety including a dozen raw oysters, grilled octopus, mussels, fish stew and linguine con vongole. Each dish more than met our expectations. One of our group is allergic to chili peppers of all sorts and our server, Mike, made sure we were covered. We ordered a tiramisu (we think the owner's momma's recipe) and an affogato, perhaps the best I've had. We were greeted by the owner, Gino Pizzi, who welcomed our young companion with open arms. All in all, it was another great experience here.
