Main Street Coffee House - Independence

As my teenage daughter would say, It 's a vibe, Mom... Now, I have my own coffee card! Our favorite spot to grab THE BEST coffee and conversation. The young ladies are absolutely amazing! Kid-friendliness: Yes!

This is by far my favorite place to go for coffee! They make the best chai tea lattes! They have a game corner where you can borrow a game to play while you are there enjoying your coffee and pastry or breakfast.

I'm torn because the latté here was very good, with a rich, silky smoothness that left no bitterness in the aftertaste. However, it took about 20 minutes to get a coffee, and it just felt like too long to wait for any coffee drink, but I was committed and am better for it.

Stopped by on a whim and glad I did! The baristas were extremely friendly and made suggestions based on my preference. The atmosphere was calming, a great place to work or study. Glad to know this place is in my community!

Ordered a cortado, barista said “we’re out of the small cups, but don’t worry I’ll make the correct portions”. Got basically a jug of steamed milk lol… it was like 10oz of anything but a cortado.
