Caffe' Incontro - IMPRUNETA

This restaurant was nice location and the price of food is reasonable .their Italian dishes quite good and the service is ok .

This is a new and hip little cafe/bar located a very short walk from the main square of Impruneta. The owner and his staff are wonderful and we have no problem speaking English. The best value on the menu has to be the 1 euro espresso! Today, we learned that if you order an American style cup of coffee (caffe americano) you might be served an espresso strength portion of coffee and a little pitcher of hot water to add to your cup to make it just the right strength. They also are putting out hors d'oeuvers each evening like pizza, ham and cheese and potato chips!

8 of us stopped for coffee and pastries on our first day in the area; they greeted us warmly and set up tables for us outside. The next day, they remembered each of our coffee preferences and continued to greet us like old friends throughout our stay. They helped with information about the town and gave us a great recommendation for a restaurant where we had a terrific meal. The best coffee I had on a two week stay in Italy.
