I went with my family for the first time today. There was an hour wait, and that?s pretty normal for a weekend there. I got the Buffalo chicken sandwich with vegetable beef soup and the soup was to die for. My sister got the chicken sandwich and loved that too. The tall apple pie didn?t have much flavor at all. I was very underwhelmed. I enjoy more crust with my apple pie. Our waitress, Melanie, forgot the ice cream with the pie too. She was sassy the entire time for our small requests. It seemed like she was extremely inconvenienced

Beautiful place to visit anytime of year! Especially beautiful in the fall but lots of busy weekends! Great food I would recommend coming early and making a reservation;

Excellent service and food. Was with a group of 25 . Time between order and meal served was equal to or less than Cracker Barrel. Ordered the Trio, salad/soup entree dessert/side order, good choice. Known for great deserts. Visit web page or fb.

Tried the Chicken Fried Steak and it was delicious. It came with a tossed salad, green beans, and a biscuit. I am so stuffed we did not have room for dessert. So we bought one to go.

Another great trip to Kimmiswick and the Blue Owl! I was so happy when we drove up to see a ramp to get in as I am currently on a knee scooter. We were seated right away, and the service was friendly and prompt. We each had the very affordable trio for lunch. My quiche was perfect and tasty, my tropical salad just the right size, very fresh and the poppyseed dressing is the best! I ended the meal with the most decadent red velvet cheesecake. I will always come back here, I've always had good food and fun here.
