Offshore Praia Da Barra - Ílhavo

Long periods of waiting, incompetent staff Strange way of serving. It was our first and last time visiting such a spot on a monday. An chaotic atmosphere waiting nearly 1 Hour for the main course Even though the Restaurant was quite empty are the reason for my 1-Star-Rating.

Stopped here for a drink when our hire car got a puncture. Staff were so helpful, translated to breakdown company for us. We would have been lost without them. Also lovely view and drinks :

Offshore was the only establishment open on playa de Barria and was brimming with clients snacking and having a drink in the sun, Wifey had a salad and i ordered a brie and tomato sandwich/ciabatta, Nothing to complain about and both food and drinks were moderately priced.

This pace is beautifully situated on the beach, and recently expanded, but leaves a lot to be desired as to pricing, customer accommodation and satisfaction. The owners have been rude on 2 occasions. Something as simple as asking that the topping served on an item be brought separately seems to be too difficult a request Good salads, at least.

Really nice staff. Very good interior design. Chilled place, good to have a caffe, relax and enjoy the sun and the view. Recommended.
