Bidra med feedbackA kind of pub that also offers food on some days. There was nothing to eat on the two evenings we were there, Thursday and Friday in September. The cider on tap is excellent. You can sit outside in front of the door or use the quay wall. Wooden trays allow the glasses to stand there straight. In the evenings the islanders come together here, everyone seems to know each other and there are only a few ferry visitors. You order inside at the bar and take the drinks yourself to the table or to the wall. Anyone who doesn't do this will also be served at the table. Everything is very casual and informal. It's true that the older lady who served us on the first evening could have been a bit friendlier. The very young lady who served on the second evening was very friendly, courteous and helpful. We would go there again at any time to have a drink, the relaxed atmosphere there somehow fits the island. We wouldn't eat anything there, the ambience would be too simple for us, but that's a completely personal attitude. It would be nice if the tables and chairs were cleaned better. Therefore “only” 4 stars.
Home at the top Fish and chips better than our neighbors in perfidious Albion. And wonderful weather. What more: NOTHING
I do not understand the comments about the tenants who are charming. We had lunch there this afternoon. Impeccable service. Smiling and pleasant staff. Very good fish and chips.
Fish and chips very good with fresh fish and homemade fries, excellent I recommend top quality ratio, top service
Rude salesperson with customers. Disparaging thoughts and unwilling to serve us. Go your way. There are other bars brasseries restaurants where the traders are friendly.
