Beraria Veche - Iaşi

Located in a quiet neighbourhood, the place is lively and cosy. Service quite fast, even if busy in a hot summer afternoon. You should try some Romanian food (either "mititei" or "ciolan cu fasole") and the beer (either Zaganul or the special brewed Tuborg). Enjoy it with a bunch of friends!

The wedges are not quite as usually. Seems those are French fries.. Maybe is a joke for 1st of April..

A very nice restaurant, nice location, good food. Definitely a place to go to eat, or just to drink some beers with your friends.

This is second year coming back to iasi and beraria veche. One could expect some decrease in the quality of a place through years, which is not the case for this joint. The "mici " are still moist and delicious ( romanian skinless sausages, grilled ", and the several Romanian traditional dishes like pork hocks with beans slowly cooked, or the rainbow trout on the grill are somethings that you can try even if you are not that much into traditional cooking. Impressive is also the beer collection ( few very good Belgium beers), although I would suggest you trying a Romanian unpasteurized beer like Zaganu. I wish they stay away from the " imported" dishes in the menu, but I guess for the locals this may be a sign of emancipation.

Nice location, friendly service, tasty food, one of the best location to spend quality time with friends and family. I will definitly go there once a month with mt buddies.
