Shaha Joli - Hyndburn

Have used Shaha Joli since it first opened , probably some 20+ years ago. food has been good for the majority of time but have had the odd hitch. what now puts us off a little is the continuing rise in prices, and the recently introduced charge for deliver we live 1/2 a mile away I feel all these rises in cost were introduced due to Covid when you had no option and have stuck.

Ordered via just eat, no confirmation 15 minutes late. Called up and very politely asked why this would be, was met with multiples ‘we’re not on just eat, it’s your problem if you have ordered off there’ despite them having taken my money Ended up having to put the phone down on the man as he was so rude and unhelpful. Will never go again and would advise anybody else not to.

What a poor experience from this Indian phoned at 7 pm and placed my order and I live 5 minutes away. Phoned again at 8 .pm and asked where my delivery was to be told it’s late because they are busy and was told food would be 10 minutes. Phoned again at 8.25 and was told it’s on way . Delivery arrived at 8.30 with an apology , i said to the guy nobody is that busy to take 90 minutes and that you probably forgot about the order. I will not be using them again order at your peril

My sister came to see me yesterday and brought me a shahajoli x I live in Somerset x my favourite takeaway ever x thank you Michelle and Jolis xx

The food is brilliant! Not one complaint! Great spices and flavours and the meat it so nice! I would 100% recommend if you are in the area and the service is great! 10/10!
