Bidra med feedbackI took 6 satay sticks and peanut sauce with gurke from here take away six sticks that turned out when opening the bag to be less meat than they would find on a thin chicken wing, really teeny tiny little pieces that were not covered. even the half of the spits, with a tiny pot of the blandest tasteless dripping sauce, in which it was terrible, and a tiny pot of about 4 tiny pieces gurke with red wobbles. eleven dollars, really? I would say they must have won about 97 percent of it and I feel quite angry at this kind of treatment as paying customer. I didn't think you could even cut chicken pieces that are microscopic. that means spiritual. I wish I had made photos, but I certainly don't forget how her photo.
A so beautiful, friendly restaurant. the staff is beautiful and eating is as good as anyone we had in Malaysia. try the mushes. sensational. we will definitely go back.
On a quiet corner in hurstville I suddenly discovered kampong boy restaurant by chance. they offer lunch and dinner with a typical Malaysian taste. had a beautiful hainese chicken rice that comes with suppe and chillie/soya sauce blend. I also ordered a typical Chinese dessert...with snow mushroom, goji berries and longan. great and good value! visit worth and will make a second trip.
We love this place hurstville is more common for Chinese/Hong kong eating, so it was a surprise to find this hidden gem. they have big laksa, kankong (water spinat,) chicken curry, nasi goreng, I don't think they can go wrong with any of the...food here. service is always timely and friendly. the prices are super reasonable.
The restaurant has been there for years so we thought we 'd revisit and have a light lunch... classic nasi lemak and Ipoh Noodle Soup with KL BBQ Pork. My wife is Malaysian and I enjoy the cuisine. Both of us left disappointed with the offering... the nasi lemak had 4 small chips of ikan bilis... not the dried fish but chips off the fish... the sambal was little and of poor quality/flavour too... basically the only thing I can recommend was the half egg. I am not sure where the 'classic ' comes from but it is unlike anything I 've had before. The noodle soup was tasteless according to my wife though the BBQ pork was okay. The restaurant decor was great, the music quirky and the place clean and perhaps there are other dishes but I cannot recommend the two we tried.
