Great customer service I was just there for a doordash pickup the order was quick and already prepared

The food is bland. I ordered the Tres Amigos and my wife ordered the #4. Both meals were bland and had no Mexican flavor. The meat was overcooked and dry and seemed like it had been reheated. The meals arrived about 5 minutes after we ordered and were not fresh. The white cheese sauce was more like melted white velveeta and thickened to a sticky texture within minutes of the plates being delivered. Would not recommend.

Got 2 taco salads only. Toppings meat use to come all together, now it?s separated. That?s ok but I don?t know if that made the taco shell stale but it was, that price was only negative. We paid $25 for just those two taco salads. That was a little high for them, for what we got. They were very good regardless, I couldn?t finish it. Staff was very friendly they had my call in order super fast.

El Monte is my favorite Mexican Restaurant and they always have been since they first opened here. Grilled Chicken Nachos are my go to at any Mexican Restaurant but El Monte does them the best. Also the Three Amigos makes for a great meal when I don?t want an entire plate of Nachos.

It's fantastic here. Great, authentic food. Absolutely delicious! The chips and salsa in the beginning are soooo great as well
