Big Spring Cafe - Huntsville

While driving up Governors Drive with a coworker on our way to a job site, he asked me if I had ever been to Big Spring Cafe. I said no, but after finishing our job, we decided to stop and have lunch there. I ordered the double cheeseburger with a side of onion rings, and it was much better than any fast food place. The burger tasted homemade and the onion rings were hot and delicious. I will definitely be returning to eat there again. Highly recommend trying it out!

I decided to dine at this restaurant for a couple of reasons: it is the oldest restaurant in Huntsville (established in 1922) and other reviewers had great things to say about it. We visited on a Monday morning and were seated immediately. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. If you have the opportunity, I highly recommend trying their breakfast over any hotel's. The menu was up to date as of July 18, 2022.

The staff at this restaurant is friendly and the food is delicious. I ordered the slaw dog, which has a unique twist with ketchup in the slaw. It was fantastic!

Been going to this place since I was 12 years old. Best cafe in the state. Best burgers. The staff is like family and I love the new building .

THERE'S NO TASTE IN THE HAMBURGER MEAT ANYMORE...... NOT LIKE IT USED TO BE,,,,, CLEAN BUT NO TASTE FOR 35.00 FOR THREE BURGERS AND THREE FRIES???? WOW!!!!!!
