Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Huntley

I place orders here because they are the only Popeyes near us. They never have the order ready and it takes me 10 mins to get there. Tonight I go there and their blackened chicken is so black (photo doesn?t do it justice) it doesn?t look like it typically does and they gave me half an order of a side. I tried to call to complain and their phone number is disconnected??? PS the half order of red beans and rice they gave me was supposed to be Mac and cheese. Popeyes, c?mon.

Went there for the new hush puppy shrimp that I saw on TV commercials. Shrimp on TV looked like the usual size you would get at a regular restaurant. When I opened the box at home, I was shocked! These were tiny things like popcorn Shrimp. My receipt shows the 8 piece Hush Puppy Shrimp. I will never order these again! Don't waste your money. Tastes like popcorn Shrimp.

I decided to go to this one on my way home instead of the one in Rockford where I was working. Made a big mistake. They advertised that they were open until 10pm and even let me order on the app. I showed up at 8:10 for my pickup time and lo-and-behold the door was locked. Saw someone go to the drive through and figured they were only doing drive through. When I pulled up I waited a little bit and someone said they were closed. That was a shame. Waste of time Update: I went back to this location and found out that they are closing at 8pm now. They need to change their google business to express this and have the website not let you place orders after 8pm. Very faulty system. With that being said, I came before 8 this time and actually got food. The food quality was good and the service was acceptable nothing amazing. I bumped my rating up to a 3 for that.

I was so disappointed. Popeyes was always one of the cheat stops for my wife and me. We would order a family pack and sit outside and down the whole thing in the car. I haven't been back since her passing a year ago. The service was slow, which I expected from other recent posts. I was excited that Cajun Rice is back on the menu. I confirmed my order, twice Got Cajun fries instead. FML I may go back to Popeyes again, but never this one

Huntley Popeye?s was a great location to get our chicken. Not sure why others graded it low but they do have a new manager now and things were great when we went. We were greeted as soon as we got in the door by the staff. We weren?t sure what we wanted to order and the Manager Dan made it easy for us by asking and suggesting certain packages and add ons. We ended up getting the spicy 8 piece mixed chicken box. The chicken was fresh, hot and delicious. They have a new hot sauce called Buffalo Bayou that is really good with this chicken. They still have the traditional hot sauce too. It was nice seeing everyone working as a team helping one another at their stations too! All employees were enthusiastic and provided excellent friendly service. Everything was packaged nicely and put together fast!
