The Ivy - Huntington

The ivy was fabulous! it was the perfect place for a special birthday dinner. the ambiente is posh and hip with a cool mood. the food, cocktails and service were excellent. cannot wait to return!

Nicely cooler place, eating was moderate, decent size fractions. the drinks were very good. service was 10/10. our server nick was incredible! super courtesy and friendly. Bus youngs were on their game!

Excellent food and great for dinner with family friends or even business!

The main dining area that is open to the bar is the best area to sit…TVs are displayed, music is playing, and it’s an open nice space. However instead of seating us (table of 4) at one of those tables that were available, they put us in a separate dining room with the doors closed except for 1, no music (initially) and Tv turned off…we felt so separated from everyone else’s dining experience. The waitress did an ok job but the food was not good at all..calamari portion was tiny, the baked clams didn’t taste like anything even with the vinegar they provide…the $75 Ivy strip steak was average at best def not worth $75…I’ve had better for less than half the price at Outback Steakhouse. The Barotta pasta was ok but too Al dente which they should advise you of from the start..but the chicken cutlet that was added to it was hard and flavorless. We asked for the salmon to be cooked at a medium temp and came out almost raw…manager quickly fixed the issue and replaced it; highlight of the night. My kids chicken tenders and fries were dry and fries were soggy. Had 2 drinks and a few sodas…$322 for that experience…definitely not worth that. Like I said, Outback Steakhouse would’ve provided better fresher food for half the price. I won’t even try to compare it to another Italian place not even close.

A Big Thumbs down I love trying new places but this was definitely a one once ! I’ve had better food at a diner and not at foo foo prices Service and staff were very good , atmosphere on point , sadly from starters to main course simply awful ! Red sauce tasted packaged , short rib Mac and cheese tasted like bad leftovers, and would not recommend the deeply fried calamari or overly baked clams i could go on but why bother Let’s just say this restaurant left you feeling Duped ! All in agreement, Thumbs down
