The Bistro – Eat. Drink. Connect.

The bistro inside the Courtyard Marriott is very charming, offering breakfast and Starbucks coffee. They also serve lunch and dinner, but we only tried the breakfast menu. I highly recommend taking advantage of the Marriott breakfast package, especially when dining with family, as it includes 2 adult entrees and 2 kids meals with drinks. The two women working at the cafe were extremely friendly and accommodating, always smiling despite being busy. The food was fantastic; we enjoyed the breakfast burrito, avocado toast, kids French toast, bacon and eggs. The kids' meals came with a choice of orange or apple juice and fruit, while adult drinks included a tall Starbucks coffee.

The Bistro, situated in the Courtyard Marriott lobby, offers food and drinks at a higher price point. There are plenty of other dining options in Historic New Bern that are worth a visit instead.

The bartender at this restaurant is fantastic. The drinks are strong and we enjoyed a night cap or two during our stay at the hotel. The bartender is very talkative and friendly.
