Hawthorne's New York Pizza And Huntersville

This place has top-notch NY style pizza even the crust flops right. We had the Philly Cheese Steak pizza, steak, cream sauce, bacon, onions with Chipotle aioli. It was phenomenal and I'm a hard pizza critic. Garlic knots are a must.

Regular pizza is decent. Their gluten-free pizza is terrible. They threw some cheese and tomato in the middle of a gluten-free crust and added no sauce or oil base to it. Definite lack of quality control. And they will not provide refunds if you order delivery through their website.

To be honest, flavors are definitely there. But this place is a disorganized mess. Told 30 minutes for two sandwiches. Seemed excessive but the took 45-50 minutes food comes out. Fries were cold. Place was empty! Sandwich made on a pizza crust roll. Actually tasty but small portion. All in all ok if you are not concerned about time... Not sure if the value is there. Maybe tonight was an off night for service.

I really enjoyed the pizza here was really good take a look at the pictures you?ll see why I enjoyed eating it all. I ordered the sausage and pepperoni. They call it the Sicilian. Real mozzarella cheese. Thick crust. No feta or ricotta cheese. Great flavor. Very filling. A little expensive. Garlic knots best at lunchtime.
