Bidra med feedbackThis place serves outstanding Texas BBQ! As a Connecticut Yankee, I thoroughly enjoyed the triple pork plate, which came with BBQ beans and dirty rice. The addition of pickled jalapeños and cherry peppers, along with a variety of homemade BBQ sauces, made it even more delicious. I highly recommend making the trip—it's just a 15-minute drive from the airport, much better than spending 6 hours at Houston International Airport.
I ordered online for curbside pickup, but all the designated spots were occupied, so I had to go into the restaurant. After waiting for about 10 minutes, I checked in with an employee...
This is a spacious restaurant with ample seating for both small and large groups. I visited for a CHL course, and even when the lines were a bit lengthy, the service remained...
Where's the flavor?!?! I was really looking forward to some Texas BBQ, but I was left quite disappointed. I ordered the pulled pork loaded baked potato with everything on it...
The food was delicious, although it was a bit cold, which I understand considering it was close to closing time. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and very helpful. I absolutely love their pommes; they are the best I've had compared to other BBQ places. The brisket in my sandwich was sliced thick and was tender and flavorful. Although the dirty rice tasted good, it was also cold, which took away some of the enjoyment I usually experience. I tried the watermelon drink, which was smooth and refreshing, without being overly sweet—just pure watermelon flavor. I found the prices to be on the higher side; I'm not sure if they've increased recently, but I ended up spending $40 for two meals and a drink. Overall, this location is beautiful, clean, and has a great staff.
