Kingfisher Fish Chips - Hull

Fantastic quality and beautiful staff. Great portions, the quality of the fish is amazing, never had a bad or bad quality piece Haddock from this store. Always hot and fresh and you always get a thank you and a smile from the people behind the counter. Best Chippy in Hull.

Ordered from here last year for my mums party and was so impressed we did again this year! We preordered the food and it was all ready and waiting for us when we arrived. It was a massive order of 17 fish and chips with sides and kids meals. All the order was correct and all still hot, everything was packed perfectly, not one spillage over the drive home. I couldn’t speak more highly of this establishment, so much more than just a fish shop, full of kind hardworking people and owned by the most generous owner who goes above and beyond for his customers and staff. If you’re ever in doubt of where to go for your fish and chips, look no further, you’ll not be disappointed!! Thanks again King fisher, you’ll definitely be seeing us again soon :

So, I ordered on Just Eats but I wanted to leave a review on here so everyone knows about how great your food is. I'll start by saying I've probably eaten 500+ fish and chip meals across the UK. I used to work on PR and marketing for a chippy that came first in the National Fish and Chip Awards, so I like to think I know a thing or two about good fish and chip shops. I know how poorly fish and chips usually travels, usually because of what it's sent in, so wasn't expecting much in terms of quality after ordering from Just Eat. Thankfully, Kingfisher is using some of the most expensive packaging products available in catering for its fish and chips, ensuring it doesn't turn up sweaty or cold. Fish was freshly cooked, the large portion of fries I ordered was HUGE, and the spam and sausage I ordered along with gravy were all excellent. I only used to eat at one fish and chip shop in Hull (Funky Fish – also excellent due to its MSC certified fish and high quality) but I'll be adding Kingfisher to my list. Thanks for showing fish and chips the respect it deserves.

Nice, big portion in reasonable price. Variety in sauces and fresh, soft and tasteful fish. The staff was very helpful and friendly! Even the meal box was of very high quality!
