Talwirt - Huettschlag

We were there a bit earlier than they were opened ....if you want to be a bit farther from the large cities and nearest to the nature,....there is a perfect place to eat a eisbecher in still : Worth it to try it!!

It is actually difficult to rate this place solely in the restaurant category, considering everything that 's on offer there especially the permanent exhibition of the Krampus masks, the wandering paths in the valley and mountains, the cool kiddie playground just by the Talwirt AND the valley museum next door. Anyhow, the food is your standard Austrian country inn menu so no surprises there, and the cooks do a really good job so having a meal there is to be recommended. Overall, a good place to visit. And not just for the food.

We are originally there because of the very cozy ambiente. who would have thought that you get the best pizza in the valley? so honestly: who likes pizza should definitely go there. the others are not to be despised. hausmannskost at high taste level.

At the end of the carpal hiking trail lies just before the close of the valley. rustic pub with very nice shopping shop. the talmuseum is also highly recommended. who is not yet tired can also be approx. 2 km to the lake run very nice
