The Farmers Boy - Huddersfield

I recently visited this restaurant for lunch and was not disappointed. The converted barn restaurant is located at the rear of the pub and is tastefully decorated with Christmas decorations. Our group of eight enjoyed 3 courses each and everyone thought their meal was very good to excellent. We tried a variety of main courses including turkey, veggie lasagne, salmon, hake, pheasant, steak, and the famous meat pie (which was huge!). The chips were highly praised and it was nice to see roast beetroot as a veg option. We were also treated to complimentary pre-starters of Thai fishcakes and olives with olive bread. The goats cheese starter and belly pork were delicious, and the lemon tart with lemon curd ice cream was fabulous! The service was prompt and friendly. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant with my sisters-in-law. The atmosphere and food were both amazing, providing a great place for conversation. The cozy and warm setting paired perfectly with the delicious food, which included classic English dishes along with some non-traditional options. The service was impeccable as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

After hearing some positive reviews, I decided to visit this restaurant for lunch and I must say, I was impressed. The restaurant, located behind the pub and converted from a gas house, has a tasteful atmosphere.
