Ihop - Huber Heights

Kala is fabulous! She is very inattentive and welcoming. She truly turned the horrible start back into an enjoyable experience. However if you want to be sat in a timely manner I would go someplace else. Host told us it would be a 15-20 min wait, waited 50 mins for our table. It was understandable that the wait could have been longer (I have worked as a host before and know the struggles) but to see someone a friend of the host come in and be sat in 10 mins and skip the line was very frustrating. Also a more accurate time of waiting would have been appreciated. Knowing I had to wait 45 min to 1 hour would not have scared me away if I knew I was going to get good service and good food but being told 15-20 min really just sets everyone up for disappointment. Food was good servers are great but the seating situation needs to be worked on.

We drive by 2 other IHOPS to go to this one because they are always consistent and the best .

Short of help was our only concern other than that everything was delicious ??

The food was good. They are understaffed. But I will go back because the food was good.

Service was slow anf they added a 5.00 tip to me bill that I did not authorize.
