Bidra med feedbackWe decided to pay extra to stay at this hotel because we like to support vegan companies whenever possible. However, in my personal opinion, this place seems to have moved away from their previous relationship with Loving Hut. Regardless, I must point out that the room was huge and beautiful - definitely worth the money, even without considering the breakfast. The hotel is called 'City Home,' and while the breakfast still appears to be vegan, it is not labeled as such. Additionally, the coffee in the room is pre-mixed and contains milk creamer. It seems that the hotel may not cater to the vegan community as we had hoped. This could be due to their listing on major booking sites, leading to a more mainstream customer base. I recommend staying at Kindness Hotel in Kaosiung for a fully vegetarian breakfast buffet if you are a vegan traveler in Taiwan. I will also try to add this information to Happy Cow for other vegan travelers.
The room and hotel quality is comparable to that of a 5-star hotel. Both the hotel and room are impeccably clean and beautifully designed with high-quality materials. The room also had special features, such as a raw filtered water tap. We enjoyed an excellent and delicious vegan breakfast in our room with a variety of meal options to choose from. The location is very convenient, near the city center yet on a quiet street. The owner was very friendly, helpful, and spoke excellent English. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Hualien.
The rooms at this restaurant are absolutely stunning. The staff is incredibly helpful, mentioning vegetarian and vegan dining options and even arranging for us to have a vegan breakfast from a nearby restaurant. We have also booked a vegetarian driver to take us to Taroko Gorge. It was a high point of our trip to Taiwan.
We paid the extra to stay here, as we like to support vegan companies where possible, but I think this place goes away from their old relationships to loving hut in my personal opinion. but I will emphasize that the room was huge and beautiful-definitiw the money worth, regardless of the breakfast! it is called only city home' and although the breakfast still seems to be vegan, it is not so marked and the coffee in the room is premixed and of what we know has milk creamer in it (some is welcome to try to correct me on it if otherwise young workers are also telling us to go east SOOO.... Although they still seem a vegan breakfast (which is great), they don't go there with any dreams of a vegan oasis as we did! I think it is because they are now listed on these major booking sites, so most customers just stay booking it without relevance for veganism. I even saw a mainstream review on a large website complaining the brekky was vegetarian, so we go! disappointment, but a nice room so worth the money when they are a vegan travel taiwan, I recommend to stay in kindness hotel in kaosiung, as they had a fully vegetarian breakfast buffet! will try to add happy cow!
