The Bakery Cafe

After a long time, I decided to visit this restaurant located in a busy area without parking. I used to be a loyal customer of this restaurant in the past. My favorite dish was the momo and sizzling chicken fried chicken, which still tasted great. However, I noticed that the size of the momo has decreased.

I have been dining at this restaurant since I was a child and have many fond memories here. However, during my last visit, I noticed that the restaurant was not the same as it used to be. Although the food and service were good, the hygiene and cleanliness were lacking. The serving plates and cutlery were dirty, and the large bowl and lid used to serve the 50 Mo:Mo dish had visible marks and were not properly cleaned. I recommend that the restaurant improve their cleanliness practices.

The service at this restaurant was good, but unfortunately, the food was a disaster. We will not be returning. The service staff were nice, but the manager or supervisor, who I am not sure of, was not very helpful and seemed unprofessional. We complained about the fish fingers, which were more like minced and fried pakoras. The chicken chilli was too dry, and we even found a small hair in the Sukuti. The sizzler was overly salty, and the baked potatoes were rotten. It was a disappointing experience overall, and we will not be going back. It used to be our family's favorite place, but not anymore. They really need to improve the quality of their food. Very disappointed.

Used to be a regular customer. Have been coming here since childhood. The sizzler here was unbeatable. Went here today after a long time and the sizzler was really bad. Totally bland and tasteless. And the drinks, unbearably sweet. Won’t be going here anytime soon.

This cafe has been there since forever for me. The chain has actually established a food culture in Kathmandu and It was popular for foods and uniqueness back in years. But, I guess somehow the charm has been lost. Very popular place for mo:mo now serves below average mo:mo. And I’d suggest you not to go for Jhol(Soup) mo:mo. Silver lining is staffs of the cafe. They are attentive and humble.
