Purple Oven - Houston

I got their sansrival cake for take out. It was good, it can be a bit too sweet. But overall great.

Purple oven makes one of the best cookies! Being a really big fan of cookies I can't stop thinking of their cookies when I see purple oven. From the really chewy cookies to the chocolate they use, the combination is perfect. And its not too sweet!

Yummy freshly baked pastries and cakes! My new discovery this visit to this new branch is their Little Carrot Cake ₱149 uf I remember correctly) moist and light cream cheese frosting, yum! I inhaled the whole thing, so good. This is perfect especially for people who like a lighter cream cheese icing and while this was delicious my favorite is still the one from Homemade Carrot Cake, more dense and more sinful cream cheese frosting. Also got the ensaymada and while it was also good/okay nice blend of butter, sugar and cheese plus a soft bread, I’ve had better for the same price of ₱80. But I like Purple Oven in general, they have lots of assorted, delicious and accessible baked goods perfect for our own enjoymeny at home, for potlucks and for special occasions. i enjoy their savory pastries for snacks too like the Salmon one but unfortunately there wasn’t many choices during my visit, I think there was only 1 kind or at most 2 kinds) of svaory pastry available during that time.

Purple Oven now open at santolan town plaza! We got some brownies last sunday. very accessible for san juan people. they are located on the ground floor and thus accessible also via car pick up via the internal driveway of the mall. They have ready available cakes for any occassion and ofcourse their signature brownies, revel bar and food for the gods!
