Bidra med feedbackThe restaurant offers a variety of delicious rolls and options. The menu may be a bit difficult to read, but that could just be my eyesight. The service is average and the atmosphere is pleasant with nice decor, although it could be improved with a more cohesive design. Overall, it felt a bit scattered.
This was my first visit to Azuma and I must say, my usual sushi experiences are at all-you-can-eat places or more budget-friendly spots like Oishi. The food here was top-notch. While the sushi and fish were pricier than what I am used to, the wide selection of hot and cold appetizers kept my friends and I satisfied. I have to give a special shout out to the delicious fried calamari, priced at a reasonable $8. (I would say this place is worth at least two $$ in terms of cost) I want to highlight our server Cha Cha (apologies if I spelled it wrong) who provided exceptional service. She was welcoming and attentive, ensuring we never went without food, drinks, or water. I would highly recommend requesting her as your server if you decide to come here. The atmosphere is cozy with some unique Japanese architectural touches, making it stand out among the many restaurants in Houston. If you enjoy cocktails, this is a great spot to have a good time with friends and colleagues, as they offer a variety of fun and well-crafted drinks. I will definitely be returning to Azuma with friends in the future.
