Yo Mamas Soul Food - Houston

This food is HORRIBLE!! How do serve soul food that is unseasoned, overcooked.

Hey all in all the food was great!They could add some more seasoning/spice, but the overall taste of the 'actual ' food was great and I will be returning.The price point was fair at about $15 after tax for the Turkey Wing meal pictured.

Will be coming back, everything was awesome, service, the atmosphere, the people, the food was good but high for the price, in general it was cool, thanks ?

1st time going, Wanted some soul food, my advice to anyone this place is not the place to go, the collar greens was just poured out from a can no taste , no season on them at all, the rice with oxtail water down ,the oxtail was not fully cooked, they were tuff, meat was hard to chew or pull from the bone, not tender, no season, to me keep from wasting my my money , I recooked them, and yams tasted terrible, like they were cooked from rotten potatoes, not a good taste the food made me sick , the (2) old people there could barely move around and they did not wear gloves while handing the food, my advice don't waist your money the food is not good ?

Man, what a magnificent place. The service is just wonderful i was treated like family by the sweet beautiful lady. NIce, cozy little place to eat and the food, the food was delicious!!!
