Bidra med feedbackI was searching Google for good reviews as I'm visiting Houston and wanted to try something I'd never had. I saw good things about this place so I decided to give it a try.I got brisket nachos and the chicken and waffle taco. 10 out of 10. I also tried the red velvet cake since velvet is in the name of the restaurant. It felt really heavy, but was extremely moist, and the taste was really good.I will definitely go back and try different tacos, because as was posted in the restaurant. They have a new taco every Wednesday. ?
Not a great experience. The food order got lost in process and had to be started over after waiting for ten minutes. The shredded beef tacos were ok with flavor, but were minimally stuffed with meat (maybe an ounce each) and mostly grilled onions. The prices were high for what you get.
I can't say enough good things about this place. The people the food the atmosphere are fantastic. Obviously the food is what keeps you coming back and this was my first visit and if didn't disappoint. Now I see there is a closer location in the woodlands which I will be visiting shortly. I tried the rotisserie chicken and the pulled pork on this visit and both were amazing. Good news open very late as well.
OMG!!! Talk about tacos with some FLAVOR!! Not 100% sure what all we ordered, but the flavor was on point. Would definitely recommend!!! Staff was super friendly and establishment was very clean.Food: 5/5
They're not open as absurdly late as they used to be, but they consistently sling creative, tasty, and filling tacos, and they do so quickly. My consistent favorites are fish chips, Buffalo chicken, tikka masala, Nashville hot tofu. The tater tots are sent from the heavens. They can be stingy with condiments, I definitely recommend ordering a side or 10 of avocado crema with literally everything. Their online ordering tool is meh and doesn't allow for notes. Their margaritas are surprisingly good! I typically like them on the rocks but their frozen is really well balanced. The sangria swirl and Grand Marnier floater is where it's at.
