Fellini Caffe - Houston

Today I had lunch here with my Italian friend and the special was eggplant parmigiana. Outstanding taste, perfect tomato sauce, perfectly cooked eggplant (not breaded) perfect amount of cheese, just an overall delicate delicacy cooked to perfection. The owner came out and said he cooked it himself and since it was for us he is not going to eat it or something to that effect.. he spoke in Italian and my friend translated it to me. I was not sure if I was in a Michelin star restaurant somewhere in Italy or I was in Houston for a few moments there!

I really like it and the staff are helpful and friendly.

Still the best cappuccino I've had in Houston. Nice, clean facility but sometimes they get busy and it can take a while to see a table get bussed. Also can get quite loud when sitting inside. Food is pretty good but desserts (including gelato) and caps are where it's at.

I ordered a panini and it came with salad so delicious. I also ordered a mocha. Everything was great, really enjoyed my visit

Pretty good gelato, their flavors are strong. The food gets 4 stars because the price, and atmosphere gets 4 because it's one of those places that asks you to tip instead of paying their workers more. Staff was friendly and didn't rush the samples.
